We're starting off in October with High Hopes for Healing. This book is a must-read for anyone with a cancer diagnosis who needs some inspiration. Written by TCI grad Jay Jay O'Brien, it gives her personal advice for using cannabis and other wellness practices to kick cancer's ass. And she should know; she's done it twice. Jay Jay will be live on the call to answer your questions on Wednesday, October 7 at 7:00 pm ET
In November, Dr. Peter Grinspoon will be live with us on Thursday, November 12, at 7:00 pm ET to discuss his newest book, Aging Well With Cannabis. Did you know that senior citizens are the fastest-growing cannabis consumer market? It's no wonder, given that this plant can help with pain, inflammation, mood, neurodegenerative diseases, sleep, and so much more.
We'll take a book break for December, and on January 14 at 7:00 pm ET, we're back with Riley Kirk's book, Reefer Wellness. Riley is a rockstar in the cannabis world and makes the science easy to understand and so interesting. This book is full of excellent diagrams and photos, and it covers everything from how and why the plant works to the anti-prohibition pioneers who got us here.
Riley is coming to the live call so you can meet her and get your questions answered.
On February 11 at 7:00 pm ET, we're gearing up for the 2027 grow season with Cannabis Book Club fan favorite, Tammi Sweet. Her newest book, Growing Cannabis, focuses on learning to grow this medicinal plant in your own backyard. She demystifies the grow process so even brand-new gardeners can succeed. But that's not all. As a long-time herbalist, she also shares her best recipes for healing products you can DIY in the kitchen.
We are hoping to have Tammi with us on the call.
And in March, you know and love her, TCI's founder Corinne Tobias will be live with us to discuss her new book, Highly Medicinal. In it, she draws on her 14+ years of experience making easy, healthy, properly dosed edibles that taste great and don't break the bank, and shares them with you in easy, step-by-step recipes. Plus, she dives into the magic of her psilocybin/cannabis microdosing stack.
Corinne will be with us live on Thursday, March 11 at 7:00 pm ET, so don't miss the chance to ask your canna-questions.
Again, remember to register here so you get email reminders, the reading list and a place to invite your friends and submit your questions.
Mark your calendars, make some tea, and get ready to read some amazing cannabis books!
With love, Andrea Meharg
